Alpaca treehouse in a bamboo forest! | Atlanta, GA

This treehouse has been featured in a ton of places like Netflix shows and even music videos. The house is on a rescue farm the hosts have made over the years that is a home to llamas, alpacas, chickens, dogs, and cats! You’re more than welcome to pet these animals but be mindful. This treehouse is filled with antiques and is built from reclaimed elements. Scroll down and check out the stained glass, french doors, and the beautiful multicolored bead board! Click on the listing below and read up on the details of how this house was built. I am in love with the swinging bed and wrap-around deck.

Book your stay at this property

This airbnb is pretty booked up until about July 2022. Looks like it’s used for weddings a lot, but would be perfect for a weekend getaway!

When would you stay here? I’m thinking early Fall would be perfect.

This has to be my favorite treehouse so far! I love the look of bamboo and who doesn’t like alpacas? They’re so cute and from the pictures these actually seem friendly. If I had the chance to stay here I would almost feel like I was transported to another country being surrounded by bamboo and animals. I would probably spend most of my time on the swinging bed, wouldn’t forget bug spray though… The property is about 10-15 minutes from downtown Atlanta so going into town wouldn’t be a hassle. The treehouse only has a mini fridge and keurig so eating out would be something you’d have to do during your stay. But who wouldn’t want to explore downtown Atlanta a little?

  • BOOK IT. You will not regret it. This was one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed. It truly feels like a magical place. It was clean, check-in was easy, and communication was great. If you have a chance to do the tour, absolutely do the tour. Do not miss it. Be aware the bathroom is a short distance away from the cabin and be prepared to eat out as there is not a microwave (there is a refrigerator and a coffee maker). It is centrally located so you are 15 minutes away from downtown and 5-10 minutes away from numerous restaurants. It’s a great place. I hope I am able to return one day.
  • This place is definitely worth the visit. For a place this magical to be in the middle of Atlanta is amazing. Definitely a must visit. We will be back and we appreciate the experience. The llamas and Alpacas were the star of the show!!
  • A 10 out of 10 in every way. We had everything we needed. I’ll never forget feeding the alpacas and llamas. The bamboo forest is magical. The outdoor chair swing, pillow, blankets. A fantastic experience!

A couple things to note, kids under 12 are not allowed, pets are not allowed, and you have two parking spaces. The bathroom is separate from the treehouse but isn’t a far walk! Are you planning your stay yet?? Let us know if you’ve stayed here before!
