I was a bit skeptical of this guest house when I saw the rectangley (not a word, I know, but it’s definitely not a square either!)- shaped exterior. I’m not a huge fan of ultra-modern box-shaped houses, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the interior and simply blown away when I saw the view of the lake from the deck and the hot tub! It’s such a stunning and serene view! Now I’m sold!

This is a 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom guest house with a kitchenette and a garage, all detached from the main house. There is a hot tub with some amazing views, a porch with lots of lounging furniture, and a dock, which seems perfect for laying out and enjoying the lake. I think I would spend most of my time in that hot tub or out on the dock just gazing out at the lake!
The owners are often traveling but always have a family member to assist you if needed during your stay. There is a contactless check-in process with gate code and smart lock and it’s located in a gated neighborhood. This is a pet-friendly house and the owners also have chickens that you can feed and gather eggs from during your stay!
One thing to note: the hot tub and dock are part of the main house so just a little bit of a walk to get there. Also, there are quite a few stairs to get down to the boat dock so come prepared with the right shoes and be ready for a little exercise.

This is a multi-level restaurant that sits on a cliff 450 ft above Lake Travis, has some of the most epic views of the lake, and also has live music! I came here years ago and it did NOT disappoint!
I have never seen something like this before and I’m dying to try it! It’s an on-the-water inflatable obstacle course with slides, climbing walls, monkey bars, bridges, balance beams, and a 24 ft wide trampoline! Sign me up and cross off my workout for the day!
In addition to all of this fun, you can rent boats, swim, or enjoy camping or playing at one of the 17 lakeside parks. With so much to do here, I feel like I’d want to book the guest house for a whole week! What about you?
