This is such a lovely little room in a beautiful historic Charleston Inn close to downtown and all it has to offer! Take a look at that gorgeous veranda! If I stayed here, I think I’d spend most of my time out there, enjoying my coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at the end of the day after exploring Charleston! The Ashley Inn was built in 1852 and has maintained so many original features that it really gives you that authentic Charleston experience.

Reasons to book now: this is the off-season and the price is VERY reasonable at $113/night! Also, the weather this time of year averages between 45 – 60 degrees, AND you don’t have to deal with the tourist crowds!
The Ashley Inn is located on upper King Street and is just a 10-minute walk from the main part of King Street where all of the bars, restaurants, and shopping are. The owners note that because of its historic nature, with original windows for example, there can be some noise from the street so they do provide sound machines to help with that. Just another aspect of the house that means it is truly historic!
