Are you and your friends looking for a paranormal experience? Consider the Hendry Derby house in Salem. It has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, perfect for a large group. A little backstory on Henry Derby, he was a local tailor who bought some land from a merchant and built this Greek Revival home. He sold it a couple of years later and it cycled through owners until it was turned into a B&B in the 20th century. This house is within walking distance of everything downtown Salem has to offer!

The hosts have plenty of ghost stories to tell and the house is a stop on a local ghost tour! The whole house is for guests and there’s even a garden in the backyard, would be nice to enjoy in the summertime. I’d love to come back to this house after a day of exploring downtown Salem, i’ve never been so it would definitely be an adventure.

- “The location is excellent, very near and walkable to many shops, restaurants, and other attractions but still relatively quiet also. So many beds and bathrooms. The 3rd floor did feel a little spooky, even before we looked up the history. Also I didn’t realize ghost cats were a thing, until we a had a brush with this one. Very responsive host, though no problems came up.“

Some things to note, there is parking on the property and pets are not allowed. This house has everything you’d need for a weekend trip…full kitchen, washer/dryer, WiFi, board games, etc..
