Cottage Nestled in an Estate Garden Featured in the Smithsonian’s Archives of American Gardens | Prospect, KY

That’s right! This estate garden has been featured in a few publications and is even in the Smithsonian’s Archives of American Gardens collection. When staying here, you have access to the cottage, pool, and over 300 acres! The cottage itself features a bedroom with two of the cutest beds, a bathroom, living space, and kitchen. The property is secluded and is home to retired thoroughbreds and saddlebreds, so the surrounding area is bound to be breathtaking. But, downtown is about a 30-minute drive and there are scenic spots nearby if you’re planning on exploring.

There aren’t too many summer dates left, but books start to clear up in September!

This Airbnb has 4.99 stars, read why below:

  • Beautiful place to stay, conveniently located and wonderful hosts! Even though the cottage we stayed at was right next to the main house, our stay was quiet, peaceful and lovely. We’d love to stay there again and would highly recommend!
  • This charming cottage is the perfect peaceful bucolic getaway – all the comfort of a beloved grandma’s house amidst the most beautiful English garden. The hosts were friendly, thoughtful, and communicative, and the accommodations are clean and delightful (rocker on the porch, cozy sitting room, well appointed kitchenette, good towels and pillows, some antiques!) But go for the views – you will want to watch the sun rise and set.

Things to note before booking, weddings and events can be held here, there are two families that live on the property, the pool is open until September and it is shared, the WiFi is spotty, and pets are not allowed.
