Stay in this Recently Renovated 1790’s Cottage in the Heart of Kentucky | Millersburg, KY

This is one of the last remaining settlement houses in this area, Le Menil. When it was built over 200 years ago, half of it was open to travelers passing through the Lexington and Maysville Turnpike. The home is centrally located so travelling around Kentucky is an option! There is also creek access for kayaks and canoes just steps from the cottage.

This house features a living space, kitchen, dining area, 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom. Check out that clawfoot bath tub!!! I say this every time we come across one, but i’m a sucker for amazing bathrooms. I also love all the antiques strewn throughout the house, it’s simple but it all flows together.

This rental was put on Airbnb in the last week! Be one of the first to stay here and give us a review. We would love to stay here…the location is great, the furniture is to the period, and it’s such a quaint house. And if you’re in this area, what are some places that are a must to visit?

Things to note before booking, some rooms have step ups from natural settling so keep that in mind, there is central air but if you live in an old house you’d know it can still get stuffy at times so they do have a window unit in the loft, and pets are not allowed.
