This is such a cute but elegant cottage. The inside is so clean and laid out perfectly for a weekend getaway. I love the fine details on the porch and the architectural style of the home, it was designed and built by Robert Phillips. With the 10 ft ceilings and tons of windows, it boasts natural light despite being nestled in the woods. The home features a bedroom, bathroom, living space, kitchen, and dining area. The property has various paths and a couple of fountains to really add to the ‘retreat’ feel. I can’t imagine how peaceful it’d be to sit on the porch listening to the sounds of nature and trickling water.

This seems like the perfect place to focus on yourself or even get back on track with your creative hobbies. I could see this as a good spot for a writers retreat.

Something to note before booking, pets are allowed here! The home sits on 10 acres about 15-20 minutes from Chapel Hill and about 40 minutes from RDU.
