Yep, this treehouse sits on a slope…so on the uphill side it’s 35′ high and 60′ on the downhill side! I mean this looks like a UFO or something! I love all of the glass and its shape. I wonder how they even thought of this?? It is California so maybe we shouldn’t question that. I think it’s a great concept though, you’re super secluded out here and you have some fantastic views of the California Redwoods. You will be one with nature in this pinecone! And yes there is a bathroom, it has a good view from the compost toilet. Taking a shower out there would be so peaceful.

Things to note before booking, it can get cold in the pinecone so prepare accordingly, bring a small backpack to take essentials with you into the treehouse, you do enter by a steep ladder so keep that in mind if ladders aren’t your thing, and pets are not allowed.
