Off-Grid Cabin with a Suspended Hammock | Candler, NC

This adorable cabin is nestled in the mountains that back up to the Pisgah National Forest. It’s situated on 125 acres of gated property but only a 25-minute drive to Asheville! So you have that secluded feel, but still the ability to go into town whenever you want. This spot is great for avid hikers…there is a trail right off the cabin that leads to a creek and the Blue Ridge Parkway is only a couple of miles away.

The house features a queen bed, living space, and kitchen. The outhouse is just a short walk and there’s an outdoor shower area right off the cabin. There is also a fire pit area for those late-night smores cravings! And you don’t want to miss the hammock, it doesn’t look TOO high off the ground but it still makes my knees a little weak.

This is definitely something that would take me out of my comfort zone, but something is drawing me to it. I may have to book a few dates and do some solo traveling soon!

Also, pets are allowed, there is no WiFi, you’ll need to bring your own bedding, you will be walking about 150 yards up a hill after you park, and there is no refrigerator so bring a cooler!
