Now, I really wasn’t sure what a wigwam was so I had to do some googling…a dwelling with an arched framework overlaid with bark, hides, or mats! You can actually head over to The Nomadic Movement on youtube to see a tour of this Airbnb and hear the host speak on it.
I love how simple this is, it’s all you’d need for a couple of days and it would make you appreciate the minimalistic side of things. There’s a bed, chaise lounge, wood stove, and a porch with seating. Along with the wigwam, there’s an outhouse, sauna, outdoor tubs, a firepit, a dam, and hammocks. You’ll love to know that it is located on a farm and you can visit their horses and you may see their adorable collies.

Things to note before booking your stay, there is no electricity or running water, wood is provided in the winter months, if the forecast predicts temps below 20 degrees rescheduling is recommended, the outdoor baths close during the winter, shoes cannot be worn inside the wigwam, and pets are allowed!
