Rustic Tiny House Only 2 Miles From DWTN Durham, NC

This adorable rustic tiny home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees. It’s in the backyard of the hosts’ home, which is great if you have any issues and whatnot. It’s pretty tiny, but has everything two guests would need for a couple of days! This is great for couples or even a few friends. This property is about 2 miles from downtown Durham where there are tons of shops, restaurants, bars, trails, and museums! I’d recommend going to the Life and Science Museum, we’ve been there multiple times when I was younger but it’s great for all ages.

Book your stay at this property

There are a ton of open dates and at a price per night of $85, i’d say take advantage and book a night or two!

This is probably one of my favorite tiny homes we’ve featured. I love how the hosts provide coffee, tea, books, and some games. The kitchen is super spacious and there are two loft beds! There is a full bathroom and multiple seating areas inside and out. They really nailed the layout and it’s in a great location. They built this home with old farmhouse wood, what a unique touch. If I stayed here i’d for sure pay a little extra for a flower bouquet upon arrival.

  • This was our third time staying in the tiny house! It is a perfect, quiet getaway. It’s a cozy place in nature for anyone who needs a little relaxation.
  • We had a great stay! The tiny house is adorable, full of books and small games to browse, and very close to the Ellerbee trail. Mina and Jarret lent us some cooking supplies from their house and were generous and welcoming hosts.
  • this is an utterly unique, wondrous little haven in an unexpected place. it’s exactly as advertised, tiny, impeccable, delightful with lovely details.
  • We had a wonderful night at the tiny house in the trees. Mira was waiting for us upon our arrival, we had the pleasure of meeting Jarret a bit later in the evening. The tiny house was clean, cozy and perfect for a quick little getaway. Jarret poked his head out on our way out to say good bye and thank us for staying.

A couple of things to note, the hosts do have a dog that wanders the property(but he’s super friendly), there aren’t many curtains but they’ve assured no one can see inside the house, and pets are not allowed.
