Stay at this Pyramid House on the Beach | Florence, OR

I’ve never seen a house quite like this! The pyramid design is really unique and its location can’t be beat, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a river that runs right out to the ocean. You have private beach access, gardens to explore, a hot tub, a firepit, and a bonfire area. I think a s’mores roast under the stars would be an unforgettable experience here!

You can choose between the Queen or King suite and once you book it, you will have complete privacy as the owner only allows only one group at a time. There is a hot breakfast served daily which includes fresh eggs from the chickens who have their own coop right outside.

The owners have a lot of suggestions for what to do while you’re here, just check out the description of the house on Airbnb. I was intrigued when I read that the largest sea cave in the world, Sea Lions Cave, is just 6 miles from the house. You can also go horseback riding, whale watching, view sea lions, or check out the Heceta Lighthouse. The owners also have a lot of great dining recommendations for this area.

“What a beautiful space! Held down so well by the beautiful Pamela. The Ziggurat has such amazing energy and surrounded by natures awesome landscape. I couldn’t be more grateful to have spent my birthday with my best friend here. Two delicious home cooked breakfasts fit for royalty. Hot tub was so great, nice place to make a fire afterwards as well. In the morning the beach is just a few steps outside of the back door. I could go on endlessly about the Ziggurat! Thank you Pamela and Russ!”

“it was an absolute delight to stay with Pamela. the breakfast was spectacular and the accomodations were unique, beautiful and relaxing”

“The Ziggurat did not disappoint! The house is an incredible architectural piece of art. The setting is incredible. The ocean is a very short walk away and viewable from the king suite. Their chickens and dogs are totally adorable, as well, but not intrusive in the space (unless you needed a cuddle, of course). The town of Yachats is very near by and accessible. We loved the sauna and the hot tub!

Pamela was a very kind, responsive and “tuned in” host. I knew she was available if needed but was not intrusive during our stay. She was incredibly accommodating, figuring out a hook up for our electric car and letting us check out late without an issue. Her partner, Russ, made 2 incredible breakfasts that included high quality ingredients and a lot of love. They both made our stay really sweet, special, comfortable, and deluxe. Thank you!”
