Stay in a suspended pod! | Boone, NC

I mean come on! This is pretty neat, I don’t think we’ve seen something like this yet. It looks like the pods can fit up to 4-5 people so it’s perfect for families! But can you imagine how peaceful this would be for a couples retreat? Oh, and pets are ALLOWED at this one! There’s on-site parking, outdoor showers and toilets, BBQ grils, and the hosts offer some small things as well when you need them. There are balconies with firepits and seating areas as well, perfect for recharging! The property is only a couple minutes from downtown Boone which is hard to come by.

I’m assuming this is a fairly new Airbnb, I lived in Boone for a couple years and never heard of this! I truly have never seen anything like it, it’s super unique and seems like a great glamping experience. If you’re like me and aren’t a huge fan of camping because of impending doom…like a bear or some type of animal lurking around I feel like this would be a good first stepping stone. I’d feel pretty safe in one of these considering you’re suspended in the air, and yes I do know that bears can climb but i’m trying not to think about that.

I would definitely spend the day either around town or hiking. I’m sure there are hiking trails around the property or you could make your way to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’d be nice to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch and take in the view early in the morning and then unwind by the firepit after a day of exploring Boone. From an outside view the price per night does seem a tad high, but if you’ve stayed here and can say its worth the price let us know! We’d love to hear about your travels. This place is definitely near the top of my list just because of how unique it is and where it’s located.
