Wizard Themed Airbnb Sitting on a Farm Dating Back to 1825 | Thompson, CT

Something that struck me while reading the listing is that a one-room schoolhouse used to sit here. But it was moved after the Thompson witch trials of 1892…i’d love to know more about that, don’t you?

This is great for families or a group of friends wanting a unique getaway! With wizards chess, a treasure hunt, fairy houses sprinkled throughout, farm animals, and more…this has something for all ages. The home itself features a queen bed, 2 twin beds, a bathroom, a kitchenette, games, books, and toys. Outside you can enjoy the vast farmland that has a pond and fire pit area.

Let’s read what some of the past guests had to say:

  • Staying at Wizard’s Roost is magical. With a curious three year old? It’s unforgettable. We had a great time discovering all the details and playing with the enchanted toys. My husband enjoyed deciphering the faerie language and I loved the beautiful pond and landscape.
  • Five ladies stayed at the Wizard’s Roost and Treehouse for a bachelorette party and loved it! Special highlights were petting the baby goats, finding the hidden fairy houses, and having a cook out next to the pond. Michael is a great host! Thank you so much for having us.

Things to keep in mind, you can either bring your own sheets and towels or pay a $20 fee for the host to provide them, you cannot feed the animals without the host, pets are not allowed here, and parties are prohibited.
