Rustic Tiny House on one of Seattle’s Barrier Islands, only $135/night! | Clinton, Washington

This tiny house was featured on HGTV and I can definitely see why! It has so much rustic-woodsy charm; it seems like a true escape, especially for nature lovers! The house is located on Whidbey Island just about 1 hour north of Seattle. The island has several charming small towns and is known for hiking, biking, beaches, restaurants and shopping. This house is actually located in the forested part of a working farm and is only 5 minutes from the town of Langley and 2 miles from the Clinton Ferry.

Although the house may be considered a glamping experience, there are also several features that make it extra comfy. For the colder months, there is electric heat or you also have a wood-burning stove. There is a loft with a queen bed and a skylight above it for stargazing at night, a futon couch for extra sleeping space, a shower and a composting toilet. In the kitchen there is a stove top and a mini fridge. One feature I’d love to try out is the 60″ projection screen for watching movies. A lot of past guests loved sitting out on the covered porch under the string lights, which sounds like a perfect romantic getaway to me!

One thing to note, the tiny house is not pet friendly. The owner has a dog that she frequently brings to the home and tries to clean thoroughly afterwards, but can’t guarantee absence of pet dander so she notes that this home may not be appropriate for people with allergies.

“The tiny house is just as listed! So adorable and no detail was left to chance. Our favorite part was the bookshelves that double for the loft stairs. A very peaceful location and great outdoor covered porch.”

-“What a wonderful little oasis! The directions to get to the tiny house were clear and precise. The house itself was precious and perfectly put together—we even enjoyed watching a movie on the projector! The composting toilet was a breeze to use. When we decided we wanted to stay an extra night, Jenna was quick to respond and extend our stay. We will definitely be returning!”

“Beautiful home with all the things you’d need for quiet, relaxing stay. Even the outdoor amenities were awesome – the swinging chair, outdoor chairs and fire pit, porch lights, etc. made being outside lovely as well. The local guide for food and activities was something we really appreciated as well. Wish we had stayed longer!”
