Stay in a ‘School house’ on a farm for $95 a night | Walland, TN

This house was built 13 years ago and is one of 5 buildings on this farm. It was first used as a storage building but they renovated it for guests! There is a firepit, porch, a living area, a full bathroom, a mini-fridge along with a microwave and Keurig, and a bedroom. Perfect for a couple of nights! The property is 15 minutes from a national park and a couple minutes from the parkway. There is also a nearby town where there are a couple of restaurants and shops.

This place is so cute and in a great area. Close to towns but secluded enough to where you can really distance yourself from reality.

Check out some of the reviews:

  • The school house was perfect. Just as described. It was very private and the farm is beautiful.
  • Janice’s place was great! The country chic style is gorgeous and the space includes everything you could need: hot shower, comfortable bed, tv, fridge, microwave, coffee pot. The property is beautiful and it’s a short drive into Townsend and about 30-40 minutes to Knoxville. I was also able to find lots of great trails nearby!
  • We can’t give this place enough stars! If you’re looking for the perfect romantic hideaway for two then this is the place!
  • Everything you need for a quiet get away for two in the mountains. Clean with snacks on arrival. A short drive to Townsend, a perfect place for a Cades Cove visit and close to some breath taking sunset views off the Foothills parkway.

One thing…pets are not allowed. I’d love to stay here over a hotel any day. It’s more cozy and private! You can’t beat that price considering the size of this house.
