This house is literally right on top of a mountain, which is why we like coming here so much. It is so quiet and private you truly feel at peace up here. No matter where we stay in Boone or the surrounding towns we always have a great time. The environment is so different in the mountains! The air is cleaner and the people are so nice. The local restaurants are delicious which is a big reason why we choose Boone. You’ll want to note that this driveway is paved and easy to navigate! If you’ve stayed in Boone before you’d know that that’s hard to come by sometimes. We definitely appreciate it because we’ve had our share of problems with gravel driveways.

Overall experience
It’s always a great and relaxing time in Boone, from the views to the outdoor experience. We try and always go on a couple hikes while visiting Boone. Beacon heights is one we recommend, it’s easy for children and older people and it has a breathtaking view. Every time we go to Boone we traditionally get Carolina Pizza Co. But we do enjoy cooking a meal or two in the kitchen when we stay here, scroll down and check out the kitchen! I wouldn’t complain if my kitchen looked like that. When looking for an airbnb a hot tub is always a must, and this one is great! We would look at the stars while soaking because the sky is crystal clear on top of this mountain. It’s also nice to have a fire going in the pit at night to combat the colder temperatures. Overall this house and town are top tier.
The space
We love everything about this house. There are a ton of seating areas which is appreciated when we have a big group. The living room has a super comfy couch and there are a bunch of games to choose from as well. We love having a couple drinks and having a game night wherever we go. There also a “ping pong table” and pool table in the basement that we like playing on.
The bedrooms in this house are so comfy(there are 5 bedrooms so you can have up to 12 guests!) and don’t get me started on the bathrooms…there’s a steam shower in the main bathroom. Whenever we come to this house I always say, “You know you’ve made it when you have a steam shower in your bathroom”. It feels like a detox and it’s so hard to get out, especially after a long day of hiking.
